Privacy policy

This policy explains what WISDOM INTELLIGENCE TECH LIMITED, trading as Wisdomintel, does with personal data collected through this website.

We are the controller of that data, which means we decide what is collected and why. Privacy requests go to privacy@wisdomintel.io. Anything else can go to info@wisdomintel.io.

Two things, and nothing else.

Information you send us through the contact form. That is your name, your work email address, your company if you choose to give it, the option you select describing what is not working, and whatever you write in the message field. We also record that you ticked the consent box and when.

Technical information created automatically when your browser requests a page. That is your IP address, the pages requested, the time of the request, and your browser's user agent string. This is produced by the server that hosts the site and is standard for any website.

We do not use analytics or tracking on this site. We do not run advertising pixels, session recording, heatmaps or fingerprinting. We do not buy or receive personal data about you from anyone else. Fonts and every other asset are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not tell a third party that you visited.

Form submissions, so we can answer you. If you ask us a question we need your message to read it and your email address to reply. You gave us this information deliberately for that purpose, and we use it for that purpose.

Technical logs, so the site works and stays secure. Without them we cannot diagnose errors or identify abuse.

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong we rely on your consent for the form and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website for the logs. Where consent is the basis you can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

We do not use your details for marketing you did not ask for. If you write to us about one thing, we will not add you to a list about something else.

Form submissions: 90 days from the date we receive them.

Technical logs: up to 30 days.

When the period ends the record is deleted. You can ask us to delete your submission earlier than that, and we will, unless we are required to keep it for a legal reason we will explain to you.

There are no other third parties. Fonts and every other asset are served from our own domain.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertising networks, data brokers, or anyone building a marketing list. We do not pass your details to other clients of ours.

If that list ever changes, this page changes with it before the change takes effect.

The company is established in Hong Kong SAR. Our providers may store or process data elsewhere, including outside the country you are in. Where that happens, the transfer relies on contractual safeguards, limited access and the security controls provided by our service providers. We are not claiming a mechanism we apply to that provider and processing location.

The specific regions our providers operate in are listed in section 05. If you need to know exactly where a particular record sits, ask us and we will tell you.

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance you have two statutory rights, and we honour both without charge and without argument.

Ask what we hold. You can make a data access request and we will tell you whether we hold personal data about you and give you a copy of it. We respond within 40 days, which is the period the Ordinance sets.

Ask us to correct it. If anything we hold is wrong, tell us the correct version and we will change it.

Beyond what the law requires, we also commit to the following as company policy. These are our promises, not statutory rights, and we are stating the difference honestly because a privacy policy that overstates the law is worthless.

We will delete your submission on request. We are in any case required to stop keeping personal data once the purpose it was collected for has been fulfilled, and we do.

We will stop contacting you the moment you ask, in any wording, through any channel.

We will export your data in a portable format if you want to take it elsewhere.

To use any of these, write to privacy@wisdomintel.io. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, because handing your data to the wrong person is worse than a short delay.

If you are unhappy with how we handled it, tell us first. You can also complain directly to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong, at https://www.pcpd.org.hk, without going through us at all.

This site sets no cookies.

There is no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, no preference cookie and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. If that changes we will add a banner and update this section before the change goes live, not after.

Your browser may cache fonts, images and other files so pages load faster. That is standard browser behaviour and does not identify you to us.

When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change materially affects what happens to data we already hold, we will contact people whose data it is rather than relying on them to reread the page.
